Big Update that nobody expected
Hello everyone, I came back on this project to add new features that seemed essential to me and also fix a few bugs that were in the previous version.
Here's the changelist:
Save System
The biggest change in this update is the ability to save your progress. This include saving your worlds and constructions, your inventory and the game's settings. You can now resume your game from where you left :D .
- New Inventory
- You now have a full inventory that you can manage, adding 20 more slots.
- You can press E to open your inventory.
- In your inventory, you can also set your respawn point by clicking on the bed icon.
- Get your stuff back after dying
- When you die, a grave spawns at this emplacement. You can go back and destroy the grave to get back your inventory.
- Optimizing Terrain Generation
- The Terrain Generation was reworked to improve performances. The game should run more smoothly on browser and even better on desktop, so don't hesitate to download the game instead of playing on browser ;)
- You can now see where you aim by adding an overlay on the block your crosshair is.
- Bugs
- Fix a few render bugs.
- Fix health UI not displaying properly when taking damage and healing
There you go. Hope you can enjoy this update.
I plan to pause this project to work on other stuffs and don't now when I'll continue working it again. I might upload the project on GitHub soon if people are interested but I need to make some order in the code which is quite messy now :/
